Campaign Story

Shearly Cripps is a charitable organisation being run by the Anglican Diocese of Harare (C.P.C.A) under the Education department, it was named after Author Shearly Cripps who was a missionary, born in 1869 in England and he had the passion to nature young children who cannot grew up in a family of their own into responsible citizens who can stand on their own. The Home’s mission is to empower orphans and vulnerable people (OVC) between the age of 6months to 16 years to develop their maximum potential to become socially adjusted, self-sustainable and healthy responsible citizens. However, due to the regulations by the Department Social Development, they have children up to the age of 18.
It is the work of the Home to make sure that all the children get the basic necessities as they grow.

Objectives

• To promote child welfare through

• Providing shelter for orphans and vulnerable children.

• Ensuring that children receive parental care, love, and guidance.

• Providing necessities such as food and clothes.

• Grooming children into responsible, independent and life skills-equipped adults.

• Providing a strong Christian base for our children.

• Facilitating children’s education and ensuring that they remain healthy.
